SLS Kinect Camera Hardware

So with the hardware side there are a few pieces you will need, but they are extremely easy to find.

Kinect Sensor

Kinect Sensor USB Power Supply Adapter Cable – This is the Australian version, just use eBay to locate the adapter and the correct plug. There are heaps on eBay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect

Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect Camera / Sensor – Same again eBay, quite a few around. This hardware requires the 1.8 Software.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to use the Kinect One, you will need to install Microsoft Kinect for Window SDK 2.0

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So the adapter is required to plug the Kinect to the adapter and then into the Laptop or Tablet.
